The Surface Analysis Laboratory
A new technically advanced analysis service, and non-destructive quantitative and qualitative testing and mapping of surface chemical composition, competitively priced, and based in the south of England.

We offer:
  • A fast turn-round (standard service 72 hours; express service 24 hour or less by     arrangement.)
  • Complete client confidentiality
  • Any combination of:
    • ESCA spectrum & Image map
    • Auger spectrum & Auger image map
    • Laser assisted Mass-spectrometry high-resolution trace analysis (TOF)
  • Sampling results are given in image, table, and spectra format. Additionally, summary     reports and full investigative interpretation reports can be provided
  • Sampling equipment: VSL Photo-electron spectrometers, with sample manipulation and     investigation areas of 6" - 8" in diameter

Typical Users will include: Material manufacturers with demanding surface specifications (Electronics, Metallurgy, High-performance coatings, Pharmaceuticals, Textiles etc), Public agency forensic departments (Police, Environmental control), and Research and Development laboratories.
